About Linux Greenhouse

The Linux Greenhouse is a virtual incubator and social network for high-potential open source projects and companies. Participants are selected by an international panel of open source leaders. Linux Greenhouse projects and companies are paired with potential partners and mentors in social entrepreneurship, marketing and operations, as well as investors and funders. The LGH is a non-profit initiative that does not take an equity stake in participating projects.

The original Linux Greenhouse class convened in Seoul, Korea in June at the Global Linux 2000. The LGH participants have come from projects and companies from Belgium, China, England, Finland, France, Germany, Korea, Sweden and the United States.
